Everybody in the U.S. knows about Black Friday, and most people know about Cyber Monday, but there are still plenty of people who haven’t heard of Small Business Saturday… And if that’s the case for you, then don’t worry, because I’ve got the scoop!

Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate and support the small businesses in your community as well as online for all they do. It’s only been around for 7 years, but it’s an important counterpart to Black Friday (which is all about the Big Box stores) and Cyber Monday (which is mostly about online and electronics deals).

Small Business Saturday is the Saturday after Thanksgiving—this year, that’s November 25th, 2017. Go ahead and mark your calendar now! 🙂

The best way to show your support on Small Business Saturday is by shopping with small businesses. Whether it’s a bakery, a pharmacy, or an online company like mine, small businesses are everywhere, and it’s important (and much appreciated!) for you to show your support during the holiday season.

If you are a fellow small business owner and are in need of some management services, then L&L Virtual is the type of small business you could support!

Of course, small businesses need your support all year long, not just one day out the year. Support for “the little guy” is always nice, and helps us survive month after month and year after year.

If you’re looking to support small businesses this year, here’s some info on Shop Small, and if you’re a small business owner looking to maximize your revenue this holiday season, here are some marketing tips.

And for everyone reading, I’d love to hear from you, so please comment below and share one (or more) of your favorite local small businesses and what makes them special to you!
